AT&T Voice DNA® Administrator Support
Manage Location Equipment
If your organization has more than one physical location with the AT&T Voice DNA® service, each location has its own AT&T Voice DNA equipment managed by either the Company Administrator or a Location Administrator.
When replacing a location adapter, you'll need to update the adapter's media access control (MAC) address. To replace an adapter with a different make and model, use a service order.
To view a location's equipment settings
- Open the AT&T Voice DNA Administrator Dashboard. (For more information, see Log In.)
- In the Locations tile, click View List of all Locations. The Locations page appears.
- In the location's row, under Actions, click the Edit Location Details icon for the location you want to edit.
- To view the location adapter settings, click the Equipment tab.
To edit a location's equipment settings
- Open the location equipment settings that you want to edit. (For information on how to do this, see the procedure above.)
- To edit the MAC address for an adapter, click Edit Equipment Details for the adapter you want to update. The Edit Equipment (Location Adapter) Details page appears.
- In the MAC Address field, enter a new address.
- Click Save.
- Replace the old location adapter with the new adapter, and move all the physical connections from the old adapter to the new adapter.
- Reboot the device. The reboot process automatically waits until there are no active calls.
Note: For information about editing a location's site survivability settings, see Manage Site Survivability.
