Manage Your Group's Dial Restrictions


As a Group Administrator for the AT&T IP Flexible Reach Customer Portal, you can manage dial restrictions for your entire group.

 

View Your Group's Dial Restrictions

 

You can view your group's dial restrictions from the Settings tab of the Group page.

 

To view group dial restrictions

  1. From any page in the Customer Portal, click RESOURCES in the main menu bar, and then click Group immediately below. The Group page appears.
  2. Click the Settings tab. The Settings page appears.
  3. In the Dial Restrictions tile, click Manage Group Dial Restrictions. The Manage Group Dial Restrictions page appears. You can set dial restrictions for these types of calls:
    • Intra-enterprise
    • Domestic
    • Toll-free
    • International
    • Operator-assisted
    • Directory Assistance

You can see the call type's current restriction setting under Group Restrictions.

 

Manage Your Group's Dial Restrictions

 

You can manage dial restrictions at the group level.

 

To manage group dial restrictions

  1. From any page in the Customer Portal, click RESOURCES in the main menu bar, and then click Group immediately below. The Group page appears.
  2. Click the Settings tab. The Settings page appears.
  3. In the Dial Restrictions tile, click Manage Group Dial Restrictions. The Manage Group Dial Restrictions view appears.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. At the right of Outbound Calls, set the dial restrictions:
    • To block all listed types of outbound calls, select Block all.
    • To require group users to enter an authorization code when they make any of the listed types of outbound calls, select Require authorization code on all.
    • To set restrictions for each outbound call type individually, select Customize call type restrictions.
  6. You can set restrictions by using the Select all Group Restrictions drop-down list or by setting restrictions for each outbound call type individually. Set dial restrictions by doing one of these things:
    • Set a value for all the listed outbound call types by using the Select all Group Restrictions drop-down list:
      • To allow users to make all listed outbound call types without restrictions, select Allow.
      • To block users from making any of the listed outbound call types, select Block.
      • To apply the group's standard authorization procedure (authorization codes or account codes) to all listed outbound call types, select Standard Authorization.
    • Set group restrictions for each outbound call type individually by using the individual drop-down lists:
      • To allow users to make this particular type of call without restrictions, select Allow.
      • To block users from making this particular call type, select Block.
      • To require users to enter an authorization code when they make this particular type of call, select Authorization Code Required.
  7. Click Save.
