AT&T IP Flexible Reach Customer Portal: Group Administrator Support
About Authorization Codes
Authorization codes help you manage outbound calling. As a Group Administrator for the AT&T IP Flexible Reach Customer Portal, you can create authorization codes for different types of outgoing calls. If you've provisioned authorization codes for a group, you can require users to enter an authorization code when making calls (except for emergency or repair calls) outside the group.
The user is prompted to enter the authorization code. The user then enters the authorization code followed by the pound sign (#).(The authorization code must come from the list of codes provisioned for the group.) If the code entered is valid, the user hears a confirmation announcement and the call proceeds. The system captures the valid authorization code entered by the user in the accounting information (Call Detail Record) generated for that call.
