Manage Custom User Dial Restrictions

 

You can customize dial restrictions for one user at a time.

 

Note: After custom dial restrictions are set for a user, you must synchronize group authorization codes in order for the codes to take effect for the user.

 

To manage custom user dial restrictions:

  1. From any page in the AT&T IP Flexible Reach Customer Portal, click USER MANAGEMENT in the main menu bar. The Users List page appears.
  2. Click the user's first or last name. The User Details page appears.
  3. Click the Outbound Call Features tab, and then click Dial Restrictions. The user's Dial Restrictions view appears.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. To the right of Use Dial Restrictions, select Custom User. More options appear.
  6. To the right of Outbound Calls, select dial restrictions.
    • To prevent this user from making outbound calls, select Block All.
    • To require an authorization code on all outbound calls, select Require Authorization Code on All.
    • To customize the settings by call type, select Customize Dial Restrictions by Call Type.

    If you selected Customize Dial Restrictions by Call Type continue to step 7, otherwise skip to step 8.

  7. Edit dial restrictions for this user.
    • To edit all custom dial restrictions for this user at once, select an option from the Set All Custom User Restrictions list.
      • To allow the user to use all the outbound call features listed, select Allow.
      • To block the user from using all the outbound call features listed, select Block.
      • To require the user to enter an authorization code for all the outbound call features listed below, select Authorization code required.
    • To edit dial restrictions for this user one at a time, select an option from the Custom User Restrictions lists for each dial restriction.
      • To allow the user to use a restricted outbound call feature, select Allow.
      • To block the user from using a restricted outbound call feature, select Block.
      • To require the user to enter an authorization code when using a restricted outbound call feature, select Authorization Code Required.
  8. Click Save.
