If you qualify for wireless downtime* credits, AT&T will identify lines qualifying for a benefit and notify the account holder via email. For each affected voice and/or data line, you will be eligible to redeem a choice of a bill credit or other benefit for each day of a qualifying outage incident. Note that you must redeem the benefit within 30 days of any such notice. Failure to redeem within 30 days forfeits your right to the benefit. There is a maximum of one benefit issued per line per day. If selected, bill credits will be applied within 1 - 2 billing cycles after redemption. In no circumstance will the credit(s) in any month be more than the monthly rate you pay for wireless service.
If you qualify for fiber downtime* credits, AT&T will identify lines qualifying for a benefit and notify the account holder via email. Note that small business AT&T Dedicated Internet customers are now covered by the AT&T Guarantee, which means the process to receive a benefit is simplified in the event of a qualifying outage. For both AT&T Business Fiber and AT&T Dedicated Internet customers, the account holder will be eligible to redeem a choice of a bill credit or other benefit. Note that you must redeem the benefit within 30 days of notice or other such time as indicated on the notification. Failure to redeem within the stated time forfeits your right to the benefit. There is a maximum of one benefit issued per circuit per day. If selected, bill credits will be applied within 1 - 2 billing cycles after redemption. In no circumstance will the credit(s) in any month be more than the monthly rate you pay for internet service.
*Fiber downtime lasting 20 minutes or more. Wireless downtime lasting 60 minutes or more caused by a single incident impacting 10 or more towers. Restrictions and exclusions apply.
For eligible small business wireless customers, AT&T will identify lines qualifying for a benefit and notify the account holder via email. Likewise, eligible small-business fiber customers will receive notice of eligibility for a benefit when notified of a qualifying outage.
While the network will be monitored and notifications will be sent proactively, you can request a resend of an outage notification if you believe you experienced a qualifying outage but have not been notified.
